We are seeking a Systems Support Specialist to oversee the day-to-day support and optimisation of our internal booking system. This role will act as the primary bridge between Operations teams and our Booking systems team, ensuring smooth system performance, effective user adoption, and accurate sales/leasing configuration. 

You will support operational teams across the business, deliver training on new system features, and provide specialised support for French and Italian markets. Based in Paris, this role requires strong communication skills, system understanding, and a proactive approach to problem-solving 

Key Responsibilities 

 

Responsibilities

General: 

  • Act as the Primary point of contact for system-related queries and issues from Operations teams. 
  • Lead Systems process, training and support across our operations teams for our booking system, with subject matter expert focus upon France and Italy  
  • Support in the review and creation of systems requirements needed for France and Italy Markets 
  • Work with commercial and operations teams to implement pricing changes and updates, ensuring our leasing cycle is optimised 
  • Maintain system documentation, workflows, and support guides 
  • Respond to helpdesk tickets logged by systems users, troubleshooting issues and escalating when needed. 
  • Conduct skills gaps analysis among employees to inform training requirements. 
  • Identify System super users and provide enhanced training, so they can provide additional training uplift when needed. 
  • Assist in Auditing the booking system, to monitor effective use and provide additional training/coaching where needed and promote continuous improvement.  

 

Projects: 

 

  • Assist in the onboarding of new properties, such as data migration support and relevant system set up 
  • Attend and contribute during the systems design review/testing process across the booking system; to obtain first hand user experience that aids training and change management 
  • Collaborate with Operations and Central support teams to obtain feedback and ensure continuous improvement in the use of Systems

Qualifications

Experience and Knowledge  

Essential: 

  • Fluency in French, Italian and English - written and spoken  
  • Experience delivering system support and end user training  
  • Ability to translate operational needs into system improvements 
  • Excellent oral and written communication 
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills  
  • Analytical and technical skills 
  • Ability to Travel if required to locations across France, Italy and other Europe locations as needed 

 

 

Desirable:  

  • Experience working with travel, hospitality, transport, or logistics booking systems. 
  • Experience with pricing configuration or revenue management systems 
  • Experience working with booking systems in the Purpose built student accommodation  
  • Experience working with product or engineering teams 
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems or support tools (e.g., Jira, Zendesk).
