  • Monday 5pm - 10pm, Thursday 5pm-10pm, Saturday 9am-7pm and Sunday 9am-2pm.

We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic administrator to join our fantastic team in our state-of-the-art student accommodation the heart of Falmouth.


As the Sales & Service Associate, you'll be the first port of call for our residents and visitors and use your customer service experience to handle any queries with empathy and professionalism. Not only that, you will play a key role in our sales and marketing plans, keep our student database up to date and use your creative ideas to organise loads of fun and inclusive student events for our residents - there will be lots to keep you busy!

Responsibilities

Here's what you'll do:

  • Conducting tours and viewings of the property
  • Responding to all new enquiries through all mediums, including emails, online chat and phone calls ensuring that these are answered within a timely and professional manner
  • Follow up on all interest and ensure that all sales opportunities are explored
  • Engage with letting agents and international agents to secure bookings
  • Process new applications within timescales given
  • Undertaking regular inspections of the show flat and ensure this is set up according to standard
  • Attend student university fairs and open days when necessary
  • Keep up to date with room prices and special offers to provide accurate information to potential residents.
  •  Ensuring there is always enough marketing material onsite.
  • Supporting with the creation and maintenance of Social media channels and work closely with the marketing team and manager to ensure that the target audience is being reached.
  • Keep up to date with competitor activities.
  • Provide a friendly and professional customer service to students living in the residences
  • Provide an effective first response to customer queries, complaints, issues and incidents (e.g. power and water outages, fire alarm evacuations etc.), resolving, escalating and/or seeking support where necessary
  • Get involved in sales and marketing activity in order to ensure the residences are full and all marketing channels have been utilised to their full potential
  • Follow and implement all our operating procedures
  • Ensure that the safety and welfare of all our residents is always maintained
  • Organise and communicate social events for residents
  • Along with the day to day activities within your role, you will also be required to manage your health and safety responsibilities as set out in Section 7 of the Health and Safety at Work Etc. Act 1974, where it states that you have a duty to take care of yourself and those around you, by your acts or omissions and to cooperate with your employer on health and safety matters.

Qualifications

  •  A friendly and welcoming approach and the ability to cooperate well with all students and clients in a professional, respectful and friendly manner.
  • Great skills with social media, being able to post adverts and stream online on all used social media platforms.
  • Confidence with setting up and hosting events for students to increase engagement and encourage re-bookings.
  • Excellent rapport building abilities.
  •  Sales focussed and highly proactive approach.
  • Ability to remain calm during difficult situations or in a very busy environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including a pleasant telephone manner.
  •  Good administrative skills and the ability to use emails, phones and various systems.
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Ability to be proactive with strong problem-solving skills
  • Be really organised and able to spin lots of plates at once (metaphorical plates!)
  • Good working knowledge of MS packages
  • Resilience and adaptability, as well as a great cultural diversity awareness
