The Director of Sales & Revenue is a strategic commercial leader responsible for driving occupancy and revenue performance across Yugo’s US portfolio. This role focuses on maximizing revenue opportunities, improving leasing velocity, and optimizing pricing strategies through the use of data, systems, and people leadership. The successful candidate will partner cross-functionally to align regional sales initiatives with global business goals

Responsibilities

Here's what you'll be doing! 

  • Lead the development and execution of the US sales and revenue strategy.
  • Own and deliver on occupancy and revenue targets.
  • Collaborate with marketing, operations, finance, and other departments to develop and implement cohesive strategies.
  • Develop and implement retention strategies to enhance the resident experience and increase year-over-year lease renewals.
  • Manage and optimize sales and revenue management systems, ensuring accurate forecasting and pricing.
  • Analyze revenue trends to inform pricing decisions and improve market positioning.
  • Adjust inventory strategies and discounting based on market performance and property needs.
  • Provide data analysis and pricing guidance to support annual revenue targets.
  • Build and deliver training programs for leasing and sales teams.
  • Equip teams with the tools and resources they need to succeed, including CRM and sales enablement platforms.
  • Work with marketing to design lead generation campaigns and effective sales collateral.
  • Monitor, support, and coach teams to improve performance and productivity.
  • Develop and manage university partnerships and third-party agent agreements.
  • Design and implement local marketing plans and activations to support leasing goals.
  • Develop, document and enforce sales policies, standard operating procedures and best practices.
  • Maintain a hands-on approach to performance management and accountability across the sales organization.
  • Travel to properties (up to 40%) to evaluate on-site sales performance, provide coaching, ensure consistency in execution, and identify opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

 To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

 

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience in student/multi-family housing, sales, or marketing
  • Minimum of 7 year’s experience in student housing or multifamily housing.
  • Minimum of 3 year’s experience leading sales or revenue teams in a high-performance environment
  • Strong background in pricing strategies, yield management, and forecasting
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills
  • Track record of building and scaling sales processes and training programs
  • Familiarity with systems such as Entrata, Microsoft Office Suite, and CRM platforms
