Modelling Yugo values and vision is critical to the success of this role. You will liaise with hiring managers to understand their talent requirements through job analysis and assessment, develop attraction strategies and manage end to end recruitment whilst ensuring a candidate centric approach. As an integral part of the people team, you will develop and evolve our employer brand through marketing activities, job fairs and headhunting activities to capture our audience and meet our ambitious

growth strategy

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

 

  1. Talent
  2. Use the applicant tracking system (iCims) to manage, monitor and report on all recruitment activity including but not limited to: DEI, new starters, turnover, turnover within 90 days, time to hire rates, ROI, recruitment costs.
  3. Work closely with internal stakeholders across the Yugo business to provide guidance on hiring within their teams. Including but not limited to: salary benchmarking, advertising, process suggestions, creation of assessment materials, screening and support during interviews.
  4. Be considerate of recruitment budgets ensuring costs are managed effectively.
  5. Support the projected growth of Yugo with the development of attraction strategy and proactive creation of talent pools and future pipelining activities for the business.
  6. Ensure job descriptions and skills assessments are accurate and reflect the current responsibilities for the roles through job analysis assessment.
  7. In alignment with the performance review cycle, ensure that JD’s are updated periodically.
  8. Promote Yugo brand and values through recruitment activities. Develop people solutions to help drive continuous and sustained business performance improvement.
  9. Work with marketing to build brand awareness and attraction strategies including secondments and summer placements. Maintain ATS attraction and on-boarding materials to build a compelling candidate experience.
  10. Manage pre-employment process for all new hires including background and reference checks where appropriate.
  11. Shape recruitment methods to attract talent – think outside the box to get the best people for the job. Co-ordination and facilitation/support of panels and bulk recruitment assessments including preparation of relevant material.
  12. Continually review and monitor recruitment success rates across Europe, offering additional support to locations where candidate attraction and retention is a challenge.
  13. Always looking for more efficient ways of working, lead implementation of new systems.

  1. Act as the champion for talent and culture within Yugo;
  2. Work with the Training Manager and People Team to create and deliver regular recruitment training, ensuring Yugo managers are fully equipped to recruit to best practice standards.
  3. Complete regular salary benchmarking for all roles with a key focus on competitor analysis.
  4. Work with hiring managers and the ATS to ensure all onboarding tasks are completed and that Yugo remains compliant.
  5. Support annual engagement survey development, implementation and post-activities;

 

Qualifications

Experience and Knowledge


Essential:

  1. Strong experience either in-house or in an agency or both, with a track record of success in a busy, fast paced corporate environment.
  2. Demonstrated experience using ATS, preferably iCIMS
  3. Experience in reporting talent acquisition metrics, interpreting data and making recommendations on recruitment strategies.
  4. In-depth knowledge of in-house recruitment, attraction and retention strategies and selection tools for attracting a diverse calibre of workforce in a global business;
  5. Influencing and negotiation ability coupled with flexibility and resilience;
  6. Ability to work efficiently in a fast paced environment;
  7. Intermediate Microsoft Office skills specifically Word, PowerPoint, Outlook and Excel.
  8. Experience using HRIS – cloud-based preferred.
  9. Demonstrated experience communicating, both verbally and in writing, in a succinct, professional and responsive manner.
  10. Experience in organising and undertaking multiple tasks with competing deadlines and in applying effective problem solving skill to a range of issues including the ability to interpret and analyse HR Data, and apply policy and procedure
  11. Experience working with global operations and diverse workforces.
  12. Proficiency in English and another European Language preferably Spanish or French. 

 Desirable:

  1. Experience in student accommodation, hotel or retail sector.
  2. Experience developing employer branding materials.
  3. Fluency in German language highly desirable.
  4. Experience in student/intern/post-graduate recruitment
