We are seeking an experienced People & Culture Business Partner with a background in property management, hospitality, or a similar multi-location industry. This role will serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, driving strategic HR initiatives, workforce planning, and employee engagement while ensuring compliance across multiple US locations. This role prioritizes employee engagement and requires up to 50% travel to our locations across the U.S. While the ideal candidate will be based in Denver, CO, we are open to the best fit. However, you must reside within 45 minutes of a major U.S. airport hub.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
    • Partner with Talent Acquisition Specialist to support in full-cycle recruitment processes for key roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiations.
    • Partner with Talent Acquisition Specialist in driving recruitment strategies tailored to the needs of various US regions ensuring alignment with Yugo values and global objectives.
    • Act as a strategic partner to hiring managers, providing insights on salary benchmarking, advertising strategies, and interview processes to ensure best practices are followed.
    • Support talent pipeline planning, identifying high potential candidates for future roles and anticipating workforce trends.
    • Enhance employer branding efforts by promoting Yugo as an employer of choice, leveraging digital platforms, recruitment marketing, and employee referrals.
  • Strategic HR Partnership & Business Advisory
    • Partner with regional and onsite leaders within the US organization to provide strategic HR guidance that supports business objectives and drives performance.
    • Act as a trusted advisor, coaching managers on best practices in people management, including talent development and workforce planning.
    • Support organizational change initiatives, including structural transformations and business growth strategies.
    • Collaborate with the Global People & Culture team to align policies, procedures, and best practices across regions.
    • Support succession planning efforts, ensuring a strong pipeline of future leaders.
  • Employee Relations and Compliance
    • Oversee employee relations, providing expert guidance on workplace issues, conflict resolution, performance management, and investigations.
    • Ensure HR policies and procedures are up to date, compliant with multi-state US employment laws, and aligned with global HR standards.
    • Advise leaders on performance management, including feedback delivery, improvement plans, and coaching for underperforming employees.
    • Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations, maintaining the confidentiality of sensitive employee information and reporting any potential concerns.
  • Employee Engagement and Talent Development
    • Drive employee engagement initiatives, including regular touchpoints with managers and employees to proactively address concerns and enhance workplace culture.
    • Support onboarding process refinement, leveraging technology and digital learning for a seamless and engaging new hire experience
    • Partner with the Learning & Development team to identify and assist in the implementation training programs that support employee growth and business needs.
    • Assist with analyzing employee engagement surveys, translating insights into actionable strategies to enhance retention and job satisfaction.
  • Workforce Analytics and Process Improvement
    • Provide reporting and analysis to leadership on workforce trends, including headcount, turnover, engagement and hiring trends.
    • Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, systems, and programs, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and alignment with business needs.
    • Lead or contribute to HR initiatives and special projects, supporting business transformation and people-first strategies.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of progressive HR experience, ideally in property management, hospitality, or a multi-location service-based industry.
  • PHR or SHRM Accreditation
  • Proven ability to partner with leadership to develop and implement people strategies that impact business success.
  • Strong expertise in employee relations, performance management, and workforce planning.
  • Experience executing in full cycle recruiting; including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and negotiating offers.
  • Experience with HR analytics and data-driven decision-making.
  • Hands-on experience with HR technology, payroll systems (ADP preferred), and compliance management.
  • Deep knowledge of multi-state US employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Strong ability to build relationships, influence leaders, and drive engagement initiatives.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
